Caring for your Variant lamp

Cleaning

Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. A slightly damp cloth is fine for stubborn dust; dry immediately after. Do not use cleaning sprays, alcohol, or abrasive materials on the shade. The matte finish will absorb liquids.

Light and heat

Avoid placing the lamp in direct sustained sunlight; the colour will hold better away from windows. Always use LED bulbs (included with your lamp). LEDs run cool; incandescent bulbs run hot and will affect the PLA over time.

Bulb

E27 fitting. We recommend a warm-white LED bulb, 4–7W. Anything above 10W will run warmer than ideal. The included bulb is our recommendation.

Moving

The shade is robust but not indestructible. Hold from the base when moving. If you're traveling with it, the original packaging is the safest option.
